Please note that we do not collect your financial information, bank account information or credit card numbers used to purchase products or services, as this information is collected by a financial institution that has its own privacy policy.
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application, however The Linen Swan retains all rights to this information. Your data is not used, it is simply stored by Shopify on our behalf on their secure server behind a firewall.
Payment gateway
We use Stripe Payment Gateway to process all payments.
Security is one of the most important aspects of Stripe. All card numbers are encrypted on disk with AES-256. The decryption keys are stored on separate computers. None of Stripe's internal servers and daemons are able to receive card numbers in plain text; instead, they can only request that the cards be sent to a service provider on a static whitelist. Stripe's infrastructure for storing, decrypting and transmitting card numbers runs on a separate hosting infrastructure and does not share credentials with Stripe's primary services (API, website, etc.).
